Tourist Flock to See Magnificent and Rare Species 

    The small population of Mission Blue butterflies left live in only parts of the the Golden Gate National Recreation Area as well as Twin Peaks and San Bruno Mountain. The recreation areas are visited everyday by thousands of tourist. Many of the tourist come to see the amazing ecosystems surviving in these areas, including the Mission Blue butterflies.

Many flock to come to see these amazing insects in their natural habitat. These tourist pay money in order to get into these wonderful protected areas. Imagine if the Mission Blue butterflies went extinct? Who would come and pay money to see these beautiful peaceful places? The answer is very little. The Mission Blue butterflies are a great helper to the economy as they attract money from tourist (Butterfly Conservation).
